Just like YouTube requires 1,000 subscribers to earn pay-per-click ads, Facebook creator requires similar thresholds to earn money through inserted ads in videos.

You must have 10,000 followers on a fan page and you must have “generated at least 30,000 1-minute views on videos that are at least 3 minutes long in the last 60 days.”

Recipe videos are popular on Facebook. How-to instructional videos are another way to rack up views. You may have also noticed more celebrities like Tia Mowry and Jada Pinkett Smith creating video content with a talk show format.
