Your grandma loved casseroles and you should too! They’re typically one-dish meals, don’t require a lot of extras, bake in an hour or less, feed more than one person and freeze well.
Dice up your leftover veggies. Add a broth. Season your favorite meats. Grab your favorite dutch oven or Purex dish and pop it in the oven.

You may have noticed empty shelves when you’ve gone grocery shopping during the coronavirus pandemic. Or if you’ve ordered your groceries on Instacart, all of your requests may have not have been fulfilled by the shopper.
Go into your own pantry and see what you can craft from scratch with what you have. If there’s anything you’re missing, this next suggestion will help.
