Don’t have a passport or know someone without one? Now is the time to get one! The 5th annual Passport Day in the USA is on Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Without an appointment, U.S. citizens may apply for or renew their passport book or passport card at any one of 25 passport agencies/centers that are open to the general public. Focus of this years Passport Day in the USA is family travel.
Passport Day in the USA is a nationwide passport party. Joining the party is The Passport Party Project, founded by travel-preneur, travelista and OneBrownGirl.com® founder, Tracey Friley! The Passport Party Project™ is a philanthropic global awareness initiative sponsored by the world’s largest online travel company – Expedia® – that will gift 100 underserved girls with their very first passports during a nationwide traveling campaign. The Passport Party Project is recruiting travel and/or lifestyle bloggers in different cities nationwide that would like to be a small part of a young girl’s first international travel experience by giving her the gift of a free passport (and a cool passport cover from Tepper Jackson). Bloggers will facilitate the young girl’s “passport experience” from start to finish.
