This month we’re profiling one of our West Coast influencers, Tiffany LaForge. Tiffany uses her professional background as a chef to inspire content for her blog. In her downtime, Tiffany spends time with her husband and their adorable Corgi, Cocoa in Spokane, Washington. In 2019, Tiffany is making a major move to become an author. Tiffany La Forge, Professional Chef & Recipe Blogger
What inspired you to start a blog? How would you describe your blog niche?
I am a professional chef and I started my blog on medical leave three years ago and have never stopped! My blog features seasonal recipes and focuses on balance. You’ll find it all on there, from decadent cakes to vegan recipes.
Tell us about a typical work day as a blogger. What time do you stop/start your workday? How do you balance family and blogging?
I also work full-time as the Head of Content Marketing for the company Cozymeal. I blog at night and on weekends. I save all of my photography for weekends and do it in one shot and I write at night on the weekdays with a glass of wine. I work a ton of hours, but I have balanced things out by hiring multiple people to help me with different aspects of my blog this past year.
Why did you join The Network Niche? What has been your favorite brand partnership with our influencer network and why?
The only campaign I have done with The Network Niche was Seeds of Change. But it was an amazing experience where I went to Los Angeles and my recipe was featured at the Taste of James Beard (Taste of America).

What’s the next big project you’re working on? What do you want to accomplish by the end of the year?
I am currently working on a cookbook about cast iron cooking with a modern twist that’s hitting shelves this summer.
What’s your advice for someone who’d like to launch a brand new blog?
I always tell people that if you’re passionate about something and have something to say, the rest will follow. I didn’t know a single thing about photography or blogging when I started, but I sure knew about cooking. After countless hours of teaching myself, I have come a long way. So it’s possible. Also: do not get frustrated or give up, which you will feel like doing often.
