Meet Eddie Zamora
Full name & City/State: Eddie Zamora lives in Pasadena, California (Made in Miami)
What inspired you to start a blog? How would you describe your blog niche? I was inspired to start my blog as a vehicle to get my brand out to the world and build credibility in the food space. The intention was always to build an audience and draw attention from people in the TV world.
Tell us about a typical workday as a blogger. What time do you stop/start your workday? How do you balance family and blogging? Since working on my TV Show “Dinner Takes All”, I don’t blog as much as I used to. Now it’s used mostly to deliver content for partners that I create recipes for or travel on their behalf.
Why did you join The Network Niche? What has been your favorite brand partnership with our influencer network and why? It’s been a couple of years since I joined The Network Niche and my favorite brand partnership has been with Vidalia Onions [mustard and maple glazed recipe]. Having the opportunity to create a recipe with a delicious vegetable and be able to share it is part of why I love what I do.
How has the pandemic affected your blog or the way you work? I’ve been blessed to have built and cultivated long-standing relationships with many brands that have reached out to me during the pandemic.
Describe your “dream” brand partnership? My dream brand partnerships is with a brand that has been an intricate part of my life. Where we can grow the partnership together and create an authentic narrative that resonates as authentic with my audience. Brands like American Airlines, Marriott, Tesla, Rolex, Viking, Samsung, CB2, and too many more to list. I don’t like to have any phony energy in what I do. I say “No” a lot more than I say “Yes.”
What’s the next big project you’re working on? What do you want to accomplish by the end of the year? I’m attached to a few television projects and working on getting my passion project travel TV show greenlit. By the end of the year, I’d like pre-production for my show to be in full swing to shoot in the summer of 2021.
What’s your advice for someone who’d like to launch a new blog? Stay true to yourself and write about what you know. Don’t be a phony. The world is too full of phonies.
Where do you see yourself and your blog in 5-10 years? I see myself with an established television career in the food space. As far as my blog is concerned, I hope to be so busy with TV projects that I won’t have time for the blog 😉
What’s your favorite spot to visit in your city and why? My favorite part of my current city is my area called “Highland Park.” It’s a part of town that’s a little rough around the edges and full of artists, creators, mixology bars, and great restaurants. In my hometown Miami, my favorite area is “Wynwood.” For the same reason, I love Highland Park.
